Two earth paths?

  • came across a house split into 2 flats.two seperate cutouts/meters. The earthing was running from one cutout, to the earthing block (1st flat )then to the gas pipe(10mm). Then from that gas pipe to the 2nd flat earthing block. But earthing also coming from that 2nd cutout to the 2nd board earthing block. Is that a problem

    When doing a Ze, you might have to leave both earth paths connected and note it on any certification, you can't really disconnect the other flat's earthing to test yours while theirs is live.
