Really good question Andy. Particularly difficult for some whose penmanship is not sharp enough to give a succinct description that embraces the fundamentals of the outcomes of their assessment. I completely re-arranged my own EICRs to allow individual comments to be made against each item inspected. However, I still endeavour to give a summary. I studied law at QUB where we were honed in the art of being a wordsmith (obviously went over my head) but when completing reports I still have a serious pause at Section E!
