Projector Lamp. Lamp holder.

Hello All,


                       I am repairing some old disco lights that use tungsten halogen projector lamps. The rating is 24 Volt 250 Watt.  A1/259 GX5.3 type. I can obtain new lamp holders for these where the originals have burnt out but they are rated at just 100 Watt only. Where can I obtain 250 Watt rated lamp holders please? Some lamp holders offered on fleabay are described as being 250 Watt but upon close inspection they are stamped 100 Watt.

    The only bulb data I can find here suggests very short lifetime (50 hrs) for these sort of  higher wattage bulbs. I presume they are under-run if they are being pulsed in time to the music or whatever.


    I understand  the modern way is to flash high powered LEDs  instead..
