    When I put my earth stake in for my radio station I got an 8 foot long copper pipe and whacked it into the ground at an angle I got most of it buried ok there's about a foot showing above ground I have no idea if its resistance to earth  but before we had RCDs fitted I could light a 60 watt bulb to almost full brightness and since the arrival of the RCDs I've tested it using a 10mA test current to trip a 10mA RCD socket in the shack
