    I got censhored on this forum when I mentioned a quick fix on some light filttings if space provided - unscrew existing ceiling rose cover.

    Fit new lighting bracket under existing rose base.

    Wire up new light to CR base then fix fitting to bracket.

    If the "cup" of your new fitting is big enough to allow space for this operation that is.

    Store the old ceiling rose cup (cover) to reinstate in future.


    Hat on duck down, yet again!


    I do like Lyle`s pictures of what he found - says a lot!
