Just a thought. I had a similar fault on my WB, the heating was apparently working but the water in the taps was lukewarm and then cold. There did not seem to be anything wrong, except when the the hot water was turned on the boiler would fire up and then go out.
Then I noticed the little pressure gauge that indicates the water pressure in the primary circuit was zero. Re-pressurised and all well.

Hello David, the pressure is o.k. at just over 1 bar I seem to recall. Anyway it is in the green range of the pressure gauge, but thanks anyway.
