Squirrel Damage

Hi Everyone,

Was at a job today where the client is looking to get their supply upgraded. I had a look at the current transformer to get an idea of its KVA and on inspection found that the earth conductors on both the HV and LV side of the transformer appear to have some squirrel damage to the insulation. Is this something I should get onto the DNO (Western Power) ASAP or is it not really a problem? Would appreciate some opinions!

Thanks Andy, much appreciated! I must admit I did think that the placement of the barbed wire could potentrially be a concern, when I have seen anti-climb measures before they tend to be seperated from any cabling!

Did it stop the wildlife getting any higher ?
