High Voltage Ioniser

We are using a high voltage (Pulse AC ±7000V) ioniser bar from Keyence on a machine? Would this need to be wired through safety contactors so when an interlocked door is opened, power to the ioniser will be cut off.

Thanks Mike, I'll need to contact Keyence in that case & find out if the electrodes are accessible or not. I don';t think they are.
