Twin core swa cable

I am putting a summerhouse in the garden.  There is an existing cable running from the house to the location of the new summerhouse.

It's not connected yet. 

The cable is twin core 25mm SWA.

Am I OK to use this for connection to the house electrics? 

Is the armour layer used for the earth? 

Thanks for any advice

    I have got external terminations.


    The diameter is 23mm 


    The cable is marked crompton 600/1000v


    Its been in the ground for about 30 years and never connected.
