543.2.3

Why does 543.2.3 prohibit the use of a gas pipe or oil pipe as a protective conductor?

Is this a thinly veiled question about bonding gas pipes?

       - Andy.

Nothing veiled here Andy. I am inviting more information on the subject to educate me more, and to get a fuller picture of the subject. Any pipe containing gas or oil may be included in the subject if under electrical fault conditions it poses a danger. A new specific thread, a new start. Don't forget that I am only a Technician so am still learning.
