Frustratingly crammed

  • Agreed, we have this natural compulsion for compact athstetics and sometimes this infringes on optimum internal spacings.

    They cram more wonderfull things in cars than in the 60s. 70s. 80s, 90s but try getting to them to tweak things.

    Consumer units are the same.

    The advent of prolific RCBOs with a N tail (and an Etail) has a lot to answer for.

    Compact (shorter height) RCBOs if they work reliably and the very rare double busbar set up (I always wince a bit when I look at the separation distance and flimsy plastic ins though). Result less of a birds nest.
