Lubing Up Yer Conduit Wires Before the BIG Pull.

What do you use as a lubricant?


Washing up liquid?


Tallow?


Cutting fluid?


WD40?


Soap?


Chicken soup?

  • None of those Z, special stuff which will not damage cables is sold. In bigger size duct pulls, it comes in a pot with a special brush that you pull through first. It is similar to Hellerine which you may have come across for cable sleeves in electronics. It would be suitable for small jobs. It makes a considerable difference, big cables on a long run would stick otherwise or get the sheath damaged. The ideal one is probably similar although others are not yellow!
