EV charger on split load

Hi,

I am planning an EV charger install, and intended on using an RCBO directly off the main switch. The issue is that the board is MK, and I am unable to find a C40 with a type A rating for the RCD. I can only find a B40 with a type A, which is no good.

Installing a new board is not an option. I am however able to find a double pole 100A type A RCCB. 
 

Albeit not ideal, is there anything “wrong” on face value with installing the EV onto an RCCB with other circuits (like ring mains). I fully appreciate it isn't ideal for the isolation of circuits should a fault appear, but to me this does provide suitable overload and RCD protection.

Any thoughts otherwise?

     You could perhaps get a C40 MCB  (example) and put a double pole  RCD in a box nearer the charger ? I have a feeling the MK RCBOs are not neutral breaking. The symbol on the plastics suggests it is not.
