How much does that mean something like a 12-way consumer unit is going to cost? I can see a lot of people living with suspect installations as a consequence.
It is amazing that we have survived for so long without S.P.D.s. Perhaps they are superfluous. Or, perhaps they are already doing their jobs hiding in computer surge arrestor adaptors, plugs or trailing sockets.
