  • The cynic in me wonders if there is an element of work creation schemes going on here.

Cue a flood of rental properties that have just been re-wired or remediated to a good standard   and certificated following the private rented sector regulations now being declared ‘unsatisfactory’ with a C2 for a missing AFDD - and landlords who may have just paid several hundred pounds for a CU upgrade now being asked to pay for the same thing again in around 5 years.

I'm sure none of the learned on here would do such a thing and all would apply common sense and say that a missing AFDD is a C3 in a single dwelling - wouldn't you?

    Jason.
