Grey Main Cut-Out Gunge.

I saw some strange flux-like greasy type gunge running out of a neutral block today, not much just a little bit.  It was almost like golden honey in appearance. The lady of the house said that the main fuse had been upgraded to a 100 Amp. fuse recently and not to worry after I suggested that U.K.P.N. have a look. The gunge had dripped down onto a B.C. 951 earth clamp below. What could it be? It was definitely coming from inside the grey cut-out.

What type of cable feed the N block? - I think some older cables had oil in them.

P.I.L.C. And it is hot here, so perhaps the oil is expanding and being forced up the cable. A good suggestion Andy.
