How to determine Arc Flash level?

This image is from some training in the US, so do the cal/cm2 figures translate to use in the UK, and how do we calculate/determine the Arc Flash level?

    I agree. All Arc Flash PPE we have bought in the UK, is sold and marked in cal/cm2. You won’t find anything marked in joules.
