How to determine Arc Flash level?

This image is from some training in the US, so do the cal/cm2 figures translate to use in the UK, and how do we calculate/determine the Arc Flash level?

    I must admit we cheated a bit, and used some software that added the feature to something we already had. We needed to classify over 1000 substations.
