Rather amusingly but not surprisingly, the UKCA mark is presumably a very late design change - the CE mark is in the moulding, the UKCA one is very clearly post printed on a small remaining flat patch, at the same time as the LNE, “Made in Malaysia etc.”
Not that anyone will care, you cannot see it when the socket is in use, the key ones to declare to comply with are on the right, BS1363 for the UK and SASO 2203 for Arabia, IS411 for Ireland.….
CE marking for the interference directive or something is secondary to if the plugs do not fit.

Quite a flippant remark?
CE mark is required for the Low Voltage Directive - the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations in the UK requiring the UKCA Mark for the same reason.
This particular product has no active components and the EMC Directive / Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations is irrelevant (although other products in the range may well have active components, for example integral USB charging, WiFi Extender or PLT) and the EMC legislation would of course be relevant).
We're making some changes behind the scenes to deliver a better experience for our members and customers. Posting and interactions are paused. Thank you for your patience and see you soon!
