Access via legacy devices

I have two Ipads. The older one (10 years old)  runs IOS 9.3.5 and the newer one (6 years old) runs IOS 12.5.5. Neither displays any of the discussions.  Are there any thoughts on allowing access for older legacy devices or is it very much focussed on newer technology ?

  • Same issue,  my IPad won't load the forum using either Safari or Chrome, it loads the website but not the forum.

As it is a mobile IPad I use for work and most other things whilst out and about with every other website and function working I'm not replacing it just to use the IET forum.

  • I just tried my wife's Ipad that I bought and set up for her, the forum won't run on a 6th Generation IPad running 14.7.1, so there's not much hope for the rest of us!

  • Right now it is working for me on an iPad with iOS 15.1.

  • Thanks all for providing further details of this issue. We are investigating with our supplier and will keep you updated on progress.

  • Its not working for me on iOS 15.1 on 6th gen iPad, the quick links on the right work but the main content page appears for less than second before going blank as in sparkingchips picture

  • We're currently testing a fix for this issue, which we hope to be able to deploy in the next few days.

    That IPad is landscape.

  • Deployment earlier this afternoon included a fix for forum rendering issues on iOS devices. Please let us know here if you are still experiencing this problem on your device(s). Thanks.

  • Hi  It's perfect on my 9.7 ipad on iOS 15.1 in both portrait and landscape orientation now. Thumbsup I also note that your latest reply has bumped this topic back to the top of the discussions list... Wink

Oooh and the font size has changed too! Clap tone2

  • Yes, those changes were also part of this afternoon's deployment. Forum list pages should now be ordered by time/date of most recent post, rather than thread creation. Default font sizes have been adjusted.
