Garden room electrics

I'm planning to batten the interior of the garden room I'm building and line it with 6mm WBP plywood with the cables in the void behind.

Can I fit flush mounting mains sockets to the plywood or does this contravene a fire safety regulation?

That does look neat. What's behind the T&G boards?

Having almost certainly abandoned the idea of battens and cladding I was thinking of varnishing my OSB walls or even wallpapering them ...

Nothing, it’s a solid timber wall. Used on a few jobs, one cabin timber was about 100mm thick, the other two were about 50mm thick.
