I wonder if it has been rewired again since ... Interesting to see reference to the earthing of conduits etc.My understanding was that not only were unearthed lighting circuits permitted in new designs until 1966 (quite a few are still in service), but 2 pin sockets, and therefore unearthed wiring, were acceptable in new non-lighting installations until 1937 (and there were plenty of those still in service until the 1970s).
Clearly not in the opinion of these chaps.
