Is it justified to insist that a 10.00mm2 main bonding cable in a hairdressers' salon is replaced because it has a joint?
Opinions please?
Z.
Not a problem, but the joint should be enclosed, with strain relief on the legs, not just a connector block on show.
The easiest way to make it look good is to crimp it, and put heat shrink over to make it look half decent. And on that note, I've finally bought a battery powered heat gun today. £70 inc. 1x 3aH battery. Game changer, I don't know why I didn't get one sooner.
