DNO notification

I diligently completed 12 separate forms and notified my DNO a of the 12 EVSE installations we had completed last month.  A multi-notification document was also available but for my own records, the individual forms are best. Any way, got an email back rejecting them as a new form had been introduced. It has no less than 70 pieces of information to be inserted. I thought we were making a bonfire of red tape!

    And have you heard the latest about EV Training? C&G are doing away with the 2919, and doing 3 different modules, C&G 2921 1,2 and 3.

    And there will be no practical work on any. 1 is the 2919 replacement, 2 and 3 are design and installation of larger EVs/charging stations.

    More easy cash for the Colleges/C&G?

    Alan, I had a quick review of the new qualification set-up. Interesting concept. Particularly, the requirements for enrolling. I do see the point but applied rigorously, I wouldn’t be able to enrol as I don’t have a NVQL3, although I can still deliver the course. 
    Not sure about the easy cash bit. Our centre has an excellent reputation across the board and works hard to maintain it.

    Whatever happened to 'system accredited learning' ?

    Not all are like you. I wrote on here about my experience of the C&G 2919, last year. £354, and I learnt virtually nothing, was given the answers to the questions beforehand, did no practical, and the individual design exercises were done as a group.

    I was pretty disgusted by their lack of any training, their attitude was that we were there to pass the exam, not to learn anything.
