Testing EVSE installations with an occiloscope.

The Kewtech KEWEVSE charge point testing adapter has output terminals for an oscilloscope, when and why would you test an EVSE installation with an oscilloscope?

    Without reading the details of your reply you have immediately answered part of the question, I went out to sort some kit in the van for the morning and was thinking is the testing outputs on the signal circuit or the supply circuit, the signal circuit makes sense.
