A Sunday afternoon question.
The Kewtech KEWEVSE charge point testing adapter has output terminals for an oscilloscope, when and why would you test an EVSE installation with an oscilloscope?

Check the pilot comms is working properly - see page 5 of the Manual. Help in fault finding when vehicle refuses to charge - you can check whether the EVSE (Mode 3 or 4 charging point) is working properly.
Explanation on this page (with image of how the pulsed DC "comms" works, has what I think is a good explanation of what's going on): www.switch-ev.com/.../how-kostal-uses-risev2g-to-test-iso15118-onboard-charge-controllers
Without reading the details of your reply you have immediately answered part of the question, I went out to sort some kit in the van for the morning and was thinking is the testing outputs on the signal circuit or the supply circuit, the signal circuit makes sense.
