Warm Air Hand Drier Loose Lugs.

I recently installed a new warm air hand drier at a local village hall. The hand drier was supplied by the hall. When I took the cover off the hand drier I noticed a wire that had come completely away from its terminal. It had a push on "Lucar" type lug fitted to it end that had come off during transit. I found others loose too, and had to remove then and squash then a little with pliers to allow them to refit tightly. Be warned.

Oh, and if you fit one of these 1. Leave enough space left and right for the fixing screws and their special tool supplied with the hand drier. The tool looks like a torx driver but my torx set would not locate in the heads of the special security screws. Don't lose the special tool.

2. Note that the cover overhangs the base. So allow for that.

  • I'm very surprised at a Warner Howard product being like that. We used to fit lots of them years ago and they were built like tanks.

  • I bet that tanks have Lucar connectors in them too. Grin
