There's no stopping me now.
If the door was replaced would it not have a tendency to fall of as this DB is designed to be mounted horizontally not vertically? or has the door already fallen off?
Unless it has been removed those fuse carriers contain woven asbestos.
Is there no end to the carp work carried out by the great British bodger?

There may have been an insulating plate that has been removed, to cover the live parts above the fuse carriers. The door will not come off as the 90 degree hinges and the fixing screws will hold it securely in place to keep fingers and asbestos sniffers out.

With the design of these enclosures, the door has to be fully opened to allow it to be removed from the pin hinges. Also it has to be slid off the pin hinges. The box is aligned in the photo as the makers intended, hinge pins pointing upward. But how is it installed in real life?
