Location: Loft.

Accessibility: Difficult.

Junction box made out of a double pattress and a blanking plate. All plastic.

Internal joints inaccessible.

Thoughts?

513.1 Each connection to be accessible, so if the lid does not come off, it is not compliant. Unless of course it is marked (MF) - 526.3(vi).

The internals are only accessible with the cover removed. Normally inaccessible to loft visitors. The cover is removeable by removing the screws.

If the JB was Not secured then that may be regarded as a non-compliance. depends on the traffic ...
