What are your thoughts regarding safety on this equipment cable entry?

My first post! 

Got a new piece of equipment to be fed from 63A/80A single phase supply.  Requires at least 2x 3C cables entering sized at 16mmsq (H07 type).

Glands wont fit, no cable strain relief...

     

Thoughts appreciated.

  • Might be just about acceptable for fixed equipment, if the cables are fixed to the building fabric just before entering the equipment. No worse than the supply end of the cable terminated into the average consumer unit.

    Not in my view acceptable for a portable appliance.

    This could be installed in a 19 inch rack in a datacentre, or a plant room or even in an office.  This one was intended for a room accessible by office staff.  Was not keen on putting one there.
