The corrigendum now specifies equipment "shall not be installed in a firefighting lobby. shaft or staircase of a protected escape route" - this does not include "protected corridors" which may form part of the protected escape route.
It is contrary to the rest of 422.2 which generally applies to the full definition of a protected escape route.
In my opinion, it's not clarified this clause but confused.
