"Indent (ii) of Regulation 443.4.1 has been removed. The term safety service, formerly included in Regulation 443.4.1 (ii), encompassed a wide range of systems. The provision, therefore, had unintended consequences for improvements to fire safety systems within installations."
I think this has been brought up here in the past, it has certainly been brought up in various other groups I'm on, whereby people are fitting SPDs when fitting an additional smoke detector in a domestic house, some have gone as far as saying a SPD is required when swapping old heads for new.

In short no. A corrigendum is used to correct errors and misunderstandings made in the current edition of the standard.

John Peckham is correct.
Corrigenda are used to address errors inadvertently introduced during drafting or production of a standard that could lead to incorrect or unsafe application of the standard.
So, spelling and punctuation mistakes won't usually be corrected in a Corrigendum, but wait until the next Amendment or Edition. Technical issues that require substantial changes would usually be an Amendment.
I did a quick internet search last night to check the difference between the possibilities when amending a document, they are perhaps actually not that important, as the outcome is generally the same, being it now says something different or doesn’t say anything at all.
The tutor didn’t mention the contents of those pages and I asked why?
He laughed and said I should have checked the regs book.
Things go as well as being added.
The corrigendum was published this morning to see here. https://electrical.theiet.org/media/3027/bs-7671-2018-a2-2022-corrigendum-may-2023.pdf
