Beach Hut

Hi all

Been asked to wire a beach hut up that apparently has its own supply

I only really do domestic work and 90% new builds so this is slightly different.

Is there anything I need to be aware of ? Should I have a earth rod, fuse board height ? Etc etc

Thank you for any help

  • I would favour cord operated light switches, in order that they can be safely operated with wet hands and no shoes, as is likely.

Splash proof socket outlets for the same reason. All sockets RCD protected , as they may be used to supply equipment outdoors.

SWA cables due to risks of vermin damage.
