Micc or FP200 cable in chapels or churches ?

Hello, looking for an answer to who decides if a chapel / church needs to wired in MICC cable or will FP200 be adequate ? I appreciate it should be fire resistant and MICC is smaller and looks great if installed properly , but I cant find any guidance anywhere

  • Re: why PF200 cables for ordinary lighting/power circuits - back in the 70s, Pirelli made a cable, then called PX (I think) physically like FP200, but a tuff but not zero-halogen LSF, and the insulation was pvc, used where the physical characteristics were preferred.  It and FP2 I believe both have an earth conductor, that makes contact with the foil of the sheath.
