Insights from the Community

In our Community Insights blog, we looked into the career journey of Philip Clayson BEng(Hons) MBA CEng FIET in From Engineering to Executive: an Engineer's Journey to the C-Suite. Phil shared interesting insights into his vast experience in the telecoms and broadcasting industry.  We also learned more about Broadcasting in a tough environment from Amal Punchihewa, former Head of Engineering at TV Rupavahini in Sri Lanka. 

Anusha Rammohan shared her thoughts on The promise of Generative AI for Media and Entertainment and in Understanding the Electromagnetic Spectrum for Freeview Television and Telecommunications 5G Mobile David Crye asks 'How can we prevent 5G Mobile overloading existing Digital Television receiving equipments?

We wrapped up the week with some IBC insights from Ian Nock who shared What my IBC takeaways tells us about the state of media technology today and a look at the IET Media Technical Network and their activities at IBC 2024
