Is it acceptable if the PRA is not from the civil engineering sector, as my experience is mainly in wastewater projects? Would they still be able to review my application effectively?

Hi,

Yes, the PRA is advising against the way you present your evidence, and the way you show your professional approach to your work, they do not need to understand the technical details of your work. 

Most us very regularly successfully help candidates outside our technical areas of expertise, and often in completely different industries. I've even helped candidates with the highest level of security clearance who couldn't tell me anything about their work (or what their names were)!
