1 Day Leadership Program
From the perspective of the volunteer who helped make this event a reality! My name is Julian Goh and I am a recent chemical engineering graduate from Curtin University. Despite going through four years of university and hearing about the IET, it was only a month ago when I attended my first IET WA YP committee meeting in April. From there I volunteered to undergo a trial by fire which was to organise a day of Lifeskills workshops designed to engage and provide values to unsuccessful Leadership Program 2017 candidates. At the end of the meeting, I was given a succinct summary from Peta Blight of the rough steps I had to take to get everything together and from that point onwards it was up to me to make it happen.
