    After receiving more submissions this year than any previous year, the IET Control and Automation judges had a hard task scoring and reviewing the papers and  finally choosing the 2020 winner. It gives me great pleasure to announce that our 2020 winner is Marta Zagorowska. Marta received her master’s degree from AGH University of Science and Technology in Poland. She obtained her PhD in 2020 at Imperial College London under the supervision of Prof Nina Thornhill and Dr Charlotte Skourup from ABB in Oslo. During her studies, she spent 20 months with ABB in Oslo, the industrial partner of her PhD. Marta is currently a Research Associate at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. The AGM received the Chairman’s Report and the Treasurer’s Report for the Session 2019/2020, and also the election of the new Office Bearers, Management Committee Members and Auditors for the term 2020/2021.
