Manufacturing in Space YP and Early Career Competition 2025 is now taking Abstract and PowerPoint Slide entries for a cash prize and the opportunity to present your work

The Manufacturing Technical Network is delighted to announce the 2025 Manufacturing Student/YP Competition is taking entries based on the theme ‘What benefits would manufacturing in space bring to society. What challenges will need to be overcome to realise these benefits and what technologies are key to achieve this’.

Please submit a written abstract of no more than 500 words outlining the scope and aim of your presentation, a 3 slide PowerPoint overview of your presentation covering aims, objectives and overview. The abstract should highlight an area of work or research that is mainly your own or you are a key part of a team.

Abstracts and papers should be on a subject related to the topic. To make it even easier, it is perfectly acceptable to use your final year project presentation, a presentation from your graduate scheme or any other presentation which you already have.

The topic should be appropriate to the intended audience of students and young professionals.

The topic does not have to be new or unique, but something that you have been working on.
