She will be our representative at the IET PATW Americas Regional Finals, which will take place in Trinidad on the 25th July 2015. High Speed Two: Engine for Growth Peter Fry, Public Affairs Manager, High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd will speak about the proposed high-speed railway linking London and the North.     About the event: CBN plays in a key role in ensuring reliable voice, data and video communication between various locations on the MRT such as Stations, Depot(s), Operation Control Center(s) and Sub-stations. The CBN is used not only by the Communications Systems but also by other systems such as SCADA, AFC and Traction Power to support their communications needs between respective systems at various locations. The CBN has to accommodate a variety of interfaces from analog voice to Ethernet and varying data rates from a few Kilobits/sec to several hundred Megabits/sec.     An experienced perspective of Cyber Security to include analysis of Out of Towners whose interests are for economic or other reasons. Theories since have now been actualised. Originally the theories took council from Marxist Model, Human Capital, Malsow and Herzbergs principals. A sample extract of the research findings from my 13 chapter study into Cyber Security is shown below – further theories were identified after the initial questionnaire, from which questionnaire two and three were created to further enhance the study: “ The author has assumed that human capital of an individual can have different meanings such as those reflective of the Marxist model discussed by Foley (1986).     The Isle of Wight Schools Hydrogen Challenge is a hands on, interactive programme of workshops for young people to engage in renewable technologies. The workshops, delivered by STEM professionals, explore the possibilities of a low-carbon future and directly support the curriculum at Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 (ages 7 to 16). Our approach engages young people from a variety of backgrounds, at all levels of academic ability. Our Secondary School workshop challenges teams to design, build and race their very own hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Working in a process of iterative design, participants are encouraged to build a car as quickly as possible before racing their design in a test of efficiency. Here he gives us his personal feedback from the event: Hannover Messe 2015 once again became the forum of discussion and showcase of the development of Industrie4.01 or also deeply associated with Cyber Physical Systems (CPS). Having attended the exhibition, I would like to outline the recent updates on this topic thus far with some personal opinions. CPS and Industrie 4.0 are often used interchangeably in the media and have undoubtedly create some confusion. I'm taking a view that Industrie 4.0, being hoped to be the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is an impact by adoption of technologies such as CPS or Internet of Things (IoT)2.   • Visit and Presentations at Qinetiq Boscombe Down

    The Aerospace Network recently organised a tour of the test and evaluation facilities at Qinetiq, Boscombe Down, followed by an evening lecture programme. Tour of Test and Evaluation Facilities After the usual safety briefing, we were welcomed formally by Paul Cheetham (Head of Engineering Governance) who showed a short video about the history and structure of Qinetiq followed by a briefing. I summarise below some points that I gleaned from the briefing. Qinetiq operates Boscombe Down and its facilities on behalf of MOD with about 1600 staff on site – roughly one-third of the UK Qinetiq staffing. RAF staff are also at Boscombe for their operational knowledge and as part of the “Empire Test Pilot School”, one of three such facilities in the world. The others are in the USA and France.     Date Saturday, May 23, 2015, 10:00 - 12:00 Program Highlights Biodiesel is a clean, low-carbon transport fuel that can be used as a substitute for fossil diesel, or blended with fossil diesel in diesel engines without modification. ASB Biodiesel operates a biodiesel factory in Hong Kong with the capacity to produce 100,000 tons of low-carbon transport fuel per year. ASB Biodiesel's product is produced from waste. Therefore, it does not lead to land use changes. It also produces significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions because it avoids the upstream carbon emissions associated with crop production and seed oil extraction.
